Cemetery Project Donations
Established shortly after the 1753 settlement of Lunenburg, Hillcrest Cemetery is a vital component of Lunenburg's historical significance and heritage character. Working in partnership with the Town of Lunenburg, the South Shore Genealogical Society is undertaking several initiatives relating to the Cemetery, including: the cleaning of headstones; a wayfinding and interpretive signage project; and a commemorative bench for our dear friend and fellow Society Executive Member, the late Pamela Lucille Comeau. In support of these initiatives, the Society is seeking funding through grants and donations.
